We are happy to share, that members of our faculty are teaching a course in the new MSc in Metaverse, which is under the Department of Digital Innovations of the School of Buisness.
The course, titled “Virtual World Architectures,” offers an architect’s perspective on designing the metaverse virtual realm. Students, hailing from diverse backgrounds, delve into spatial design principles within the metaverse context. They explore 3D modeling software processes, including game engines, polygonal and voxel computer graphics, guiding the creation to life process in the virtual world. A key component of the course involves critically examining the metaverse’s role as a digital twin or enabling layer to the physical world.
