We are happy to announce that the architectural team* of our colleague Professor Yiorgos Hadjichristou, that included 3rd year students and alumni of the Department of Architecture, has been awarded 2nd Prize in the International Competition for the “Restoration of a listed building in Athenas Street and the construction of a new building for the purposes of housing services of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance and the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare”.
The competition winning entry is attached. The official ceremony was held on the 28th of July 2022 in Paphos. This was the second time this year that the architectural team of Yiorgos Hadjichristou wins second prize following the one in the international competition for the “Master plan and the multiple purpose hall and eateries in the listed school of Ayios Antonios”.
