2nd Prize in the 8th Advanced Architecture Contest – IAAC, by student Yvonne Asiimwe

We are very pleased to announce that 4th year student Yvonne Asiimwe, from the Department of Architecture, with her work under Unit 8 Displaced Architecture (by professors Alessandra Swiny, Angela Petrou and Natasha Christou) has been awarded 2nd Prize in the 8th Advanced Architecture Contest. https://advancedarchitecturecontest.org/results/

She will receive a one-year grant to follow a Master programme at one of the leading schools of Architecture in the world, IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) in Barcelona (value aprox 18.750,00 €), 2000 € cash, her work presented at a major exhibition in Barcelona, and published by ACTAR.

This is a huge honour for Yvonne, our Department and the teaching faculty.
